Summer Scholars

The SCRiM Summer Scholars Program enabled selected undergraduates and early career graduate students to work full-time on independent research projects under the mentorship and support of SCRiM researchers.

Over five years, Summer Scholars had 42 participants from 28 institutions. In addition to conducting independent research, the Scholars participated in weekly professional development luncheons. Through these activities, they shared their ideas, discussed individual projects, interacted with SCRiM researchers, and learned about potential graduate school and career opportunities. To allow for a full-time reasearch experience, SCRiM provided each Scholar with a stiped and housing.
